As the nephew of the Dancehall legend Shelly Thunder, growing up on the vibes of R&B, ballads,reggae, pop, rock, and his "mama's" oldies tapes playing every Sunday, a balanced musical diet was what Christopher "Crissanji" Grant grew up on. Whether it was dancing, singing, making beats with any object he can get his hands on, music was always around him. However; it was when he laid his eyes upon the late great Michael Jackson, it was over! Criss knew what he was going to do and what he was going to be; and that was the starting of Crissanji's journey.

Performing since the age of 4, Crissanji is no novice when it comes to the “big” stage.
