Makayla Binter is a creator, organizer, and catalyst based in Charlotte, NC. Originally from Upstate New York, she moved to NC to get her degree in Biology and Studio Art at Davidson College. Upon receiving her Master’s Degree in Urban Design at UNC at Charlotte in 2022, she took her knowledge to create and curate creative activations for partners and businesses like Converse, Ally, TD Bank, Adobe, The Carolina Panthers, ACC, Sierra Nevada, and The Charlotte Hornets. She paints on canvas and murals with acrylic paint and spray paint, customizes clothing items like hats, jerseys and shoes and completes digital drawings of various sizes and installation purposes. She works for Charlotte Is Creative as the Communications Catalyst, hosts events and creative experiences, facilitates workshops, and manages social media accounts.
