Nathan Ivey, owner of Circus de la Mind, LLC, is a Spoken Word artist from Beech Island, South Carolina.
He began performing poetry during his freshman year of college at the University of South Carolina in 2006. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2017 to further his career. Nathan has been a poet-for-hire since 2011, performing at a variety of venues, including: weddings, business summits, museums, empowerment seminars, and a myriad of poetry events. Nathan, who goes by the stage name, N-8, has opened up for Ashford and Simpson, performed at Tedx, as well as the MGM Grand.
His genre is a hybridized version of motivational speaking delivered through spoken word. His motto is:
