Kwasi Ankhoma is a Pan-African poet, writer, and author of the book “Heed: Intuition Never Lies.” Apart from publishing poetry in the American Poetry Showcase, the New England Journal, and Afrikan Shuuja Magazine, he is also the author of the anthology “Ancestral Voices” and “Ankhfly”. He has extensively travelled around Ghana, Togo and Benin, learning about the history and culture of the countries, and their regions. Kwasi Ankhoma can usually be found reading a book, and that book will more likely than not be a suspense thriller. Writing a novel was always on his bucket list, and eventually, with Heed: Intuition Never Lies, it became a reality. When not absorbed in the latest gripping page-turner, Ankhoma loves dancing, making music, writing poetry, enjoys yoga, and otherwise spends far too much time teaching and empowering the youth. He’s the founder and leader of the Neo Pan-Afrikan Youth Ass. (NPAYA). A Nonprofit Organization with the aim to instill the spirit of self-confidence and positive change in underprivileged youth in Ghana, Africa and beyond. He currently lives in Accra, Ghana, with his team, pursuing the objectives of the NPAYA, in collaboration with Dreams Matter Program founded by Nicholas Palmentra, a writer and editor from Ohio, USA with the goal to empower underprivileged youth to empower others through education and support.
